1. Read Mosiah 2:1-8. Why did King Benjamin erect a tower? Who among his people were able to hear and/or read his speech?

BONUS: List six things from Mosiah 2:4, for which Benjamin suggested his people should be grateful. Can you think of others? Do these apply to us?

2. Read Mosiah 2:9-17. How did King Benjamin explain "hearkening" in Mosiah 2:9? Why did Benjamin review his leadership qualities with his people? Which of these impresses you most?

3. Read Mosiah 2:18-30. How do we serve God? Why do we serve God? Why did Benjamin serve his people?

​

​

4. Read Mosiah 2:31-41. According to King Benjamin, how can we stay close to the Spirit of the Lord and resist the evil spirit? How are we blessed if we keep the commandments?

5. Read Mosiah 3:1-11. Why did the angel come to King Benjamin? According to the angel, why would Christ come to earth?

​

6. Read Mosiah 3:12-18. How can we know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer? How do we know that His judgment is just?

​

7. Read Mosiah 3:19-27. List qualities from Mosiah 3:19 which will help us to become saints, through the atonement of Christ. If we posses and/or obtain all these qualities, why would we need the atonement?

BONUS: What is the "cup of the wrath of God"? (Mosiah 3:26; see also Psalm 75:8, Alma 40:26.)
