Moroni 9-10

1. Read Moroni 9:1-6.

NOTE: This is the second epistle of Mormon to his son Moroni.) What was Mormon's dilemma in preaching to his people? Why did he continue to labor diligently?

2. Read Moroni 9:7-17, also read Mormon 2:9 (for a reminder about the identity of the "Aaron" mentioned in Moroni 9:17.)

Considering the atrocities perpetrated on both sides, how would you answer Mormon's questions from Moroni 9:11-14

BONUS: How can we avoid apostasy and wickedness in our lives?

3. Read Moroni 9:18-26. 

From Moroni 9:18, what two things did Mormon say his people lacked? How are these two things restated in Moroni 9:20? What was Mormon's desire for his son?

4. Read Moroni 10:1-7.

To whom did Moroni address this part of his record? List three things Moroni exhorted his readers to DO in Moroni 10:3 and the one thing he exhorted them to do in Moroni 10:4. What was his promise to all who did as he asked?

5. Read Moroni 10:8-18.

Why are we given spiritual gifts? How do these gifts come? What two things does Moroni exhort us to do in Moroni 10:8 and 18?

6. Read Moroni 10:19-29.

What is our state if we are without hope? To whom did Moroni address his remarks beginning in Moroni 10:24? When will we see him and how will we know his record is true?

7. Read Moroni 10:30-34.

List all the things Moroni exhorts us to do in Moroni 10:30-34. What do these exhortations have to do with how we keep our covenants?
