Is this an Institute class?
Stake Adult Religion classes are not "Institute." The institutes of religion program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides religious education for young adults ages 18 to 30. These classes are usually associated with local colleges and universities, and fulfill religion requirements toward graduation at Church schools. To avoid confusion, our stake instruction is not called "Institute."
As defined by the Church Continuing Education department, local stakes may offer Adult Religion classes as a stake activity, where the class is designed, managed, and supported by an instructor called and assigned by the local stake president. There are no compensation or participant fees, but also no college credit. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.

When are classes held?
Peñasquitos Stake Adult Religion classes are held Thursdays at 11:00am and 8:00pm, from September through May. We meet in the Relief Society room at the stake center. For a more complete 2017-2018 schedule, please go to the Class Schedule page on this website. Each class is one hour. You may join the class at any time throughout the year.
