1. Read 3 Nephi 13:1-14.

Why do you think the Lord  counseled His people to give offerings privately and pray without fanfare? Which phrases in the Savior's sample prayer have made an impression on you?

2. Read 3 Nephi 13:15-24.

List ways in which we can lay up treasures in heaven. To whom should your eye be single - or on what should we focus if we desire light in our lives?

3. Read 3 Nephi 13:25-34.

To whom was Jesus speaking in this passage, beginning in 3 Nephi 13:25? Summarize the Lord's message to this select audience.

4. Read 3 Nephi 14:1-12.

To whom was Jesus speaking in 3 Nephi 14? What was the Savior's counsel on social criticism? How can we judge righteously?

Why must we not just ask, but also seek and knock?

5. Read 3 Nephi 14:13-27.

What is a "strait gate"? How can we use the gift of discernment to find and enter into the Lord's "strait gate"?

6. Read 3 Nephi 15:1-10.

What did the people gathered at Bountiful receive because they were PONDERING the words of Christ's sermon?   

7. Read 3 Nephi 15:11-24.

What did the Savior want His twelve disciples (apostles) in the New World to understand about their identity and stewardship?
