2. Read 3 Nephi 28:12-23, Guide to the Scriptures, "Translated Beings," Guide to the Scriptures, "Transfiguration," and Guide to the Scriptures, "Three Nephite Disciples."

What is the difference between transfiguration and being translated? List some of the qualities of each. Why were these gifts necessary for the stewardships of the New World Twelve?

3. Read 3 Nephi 28:24-32.

Mormon states in 3 Nephi 28:30 that the three disciples who desired to continue their work on earth are "as the angels of God." What does this tell you about angels? About the three disciples?

What is the warning of 3 Nephi 28:34? 35? What additional information was Mormon given regarding the three disciples? How did he receive this further light and knowledge?
