1. Read 3 Nephi 21:1-9.
3 Nephi 21:1-7 is perhaps the longest sentence in the Book of Mormon. Although every word of it is important, can you rewrite it in a shorter, simpler way? According to 3 Nephi 21:8-9, list additional signs that Israel is beginning to be gathered.

2. Read 3 Nephi 21:10-19.
Who has fulfilled the prophecy regarding a servant, as described in 3 Nephi 21:10? (Note: See also D&C 135:1.) 3 Nephi 21:11-19 contain warnings for our day. What is the fate of the Gentiles who refuse to repent? Which of these consequences might have sounded familiar to the Nephites?

3. Read 3 Nephi 21:20-29.
3 Nephi 21:22-23 mentions three groups of people who will build the New Jerusalem and help gather Israel. Who are they? This chapter contains beautiful promises to God's covenant people. What reassurances do we have specifically in 3 Nephi 21:25 and 29?

4. Read 3 Nephi 22:1-17.
According to the chapter heading, when will Zion and her stakes be established? Which of the promises in this chapter are most meaningful to you?

5. Read 3 Nephi 23:1-14.
Give three details from Jesus' address in 3 Nephi 23 indicating His desire that we study the words of the prophets.

6. Read 3 Nephi 24:1-18.
Malachi was a prophet in Israel about 300 years after Lehi left Jerusalem. Why do you think the Lord wanted Malachi's prophesies included in the Nephite record?

7. Read 3 Nephi 25:1-6.
What will happen to the wicked at the Lord's Second Coming? What is Elijah's stewardship? When will Elijah do his great work?
