1. Read Mormon 7:1-10.
Specifically, to whom did Mormon write in this chapter? What did he want us to KNOW? What did he want us to DO?
2. Read Mormon 8:1-15.
Who was Moroni? What was the condition of the Nephites and Lamanites by 400 AD?
3. Read Mormon 8:16-32.
To what does Moroni have reference when he speaks of "this thing" (see Mormon 8:16) and "these things" (Mormon 8:25)? When will they come forth? List signs from Mormon 8:26-32.
4. Read Mormon 8:33-41.
What did Moroni know about our day?
5. Read Mormon 9:1-14.
To whom did Moroni address his remarks in Mormon 9:1 and 9:7? List warnings from Mormon 9:1-14.
6. Read Mormon 9:15-26.
What proof does Moroni offer that God is a God of miracles? What signs follow those who believe?
7. Read Mormon 9:27-37.
From this passage, list ways that we can avoid temptation. Why did Moroni and other Book of Mormon prophets record these warnings and promises?
